Gremmie

Here are a couple of videos for Gremmie Skateboards. Skibba is keeping it fresh with boards inspired from the sixties. Super cool cruisers, great shapes, one of a kind, and hand made. Reserve is very excited to offer one off Gremmie decks from Kevin Skibba.

Dennis McNett

Had the pleasure of meeting Dennis McNett at the Houston art car parade this weekend. Fellow friend and artist Carlos Hernandez and Dennis created the Mayan Temple art car for Houston's 25th annual art car parade. McNett’s participation in the Art Car Parade was sponsored by The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art and Burning Bones Press.

Dennis McNett was born in 1972 and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. He moved to New York in 2001. He has been carving surly block prints for over 18 years. His encouragement as a kid came from his blind grandfather, who told him over and over again that his drawings were good. Later influences came from the raw high-energy imagery pouring out of the early 80's skateboard and punk rock scene. Participating in both the fine art and design worlds, Dennis has been fortunate enough to create series’ for Anti-Hero skateboards, design shoes for Vans, have work fill the windows of Barneys, NY, and participate in the Deitch Artparade. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Juxtapoz magazine, Thrasher and Complex Magazine.

Better Block Party

Join us this Saturday after the art car parade for the Better Block party on Washington Ave. There will be plenty to see, do and eat. Behind Reserve Supply Company, Catalina Coffee, and Darkhorse Tavern there will be BBQ and a bunch of art cars. Huston's Drugs will also be reopening for the day serving burgers and malts from the bar. Can't wait to see what relics are in that place! Between Silver and White Streets on Washington there will be live music, food trucks, pop up shops, and a bicycle repair station. Ride, roll, or walk come by the store and check out the party.
